Ñ Feel free to include unregistered copies of Gold Digger: The Lost Mines¬ in Shareware/ Demoware libraries. If your copy is registered, make an unregistered copy by selecting "About Gold Digger" from the Documentation menu. Then press "Save Unregistered Copy." Distribute only UNREGISTERED copies along with The Official Lost Mines screens and this Read Me file. The authors spent a great deal of time creating this software; please do not give away registered copies.
Ñ Once you have registered your copy, you are encouraged to create and freely distribute your own screen files. Other users who have registered the game will be able to play your screens.
Ñ You can force Gold Digger to run in small screen mode by holding Option-Shift immediately after opening the application from the Finder.
Ñ The game's built-in Documentation always prints on a printer in black & white. If background printing is used, the font and spacing will look differently from what is on the screen. This is because Gold Digger's font is not installed as part of your System. If you really want to print with the same font, turn background printing off.
Ñ Gold Digger is designed to run concurrently with other applications, however leaving other applications open or too many system extensions may slow the game's performance. For example, leaving the Monitors Control Panel open may make the game run "choppy."
Ñ The authors of Gold Digger are Tad Woods and Vince White. The tools used to develop the game include: Symantec Think C¬, DeskPaint¿, DeskDraw¿, SoundEdit¬, ResEdit¬, a number of different Macintosh models and EtherWave¿. Special thanks to the large number of users who registered Spacestation Pheta, another T&T Software game. Their support made developing Gold Digger: The Lost Mines¬ possible.
